Stuart Island
One of British Columbia’s Discovery Islands, Stuart Island lies between northern Vancouver Island and the BC coast. Privately owned, it features exclusive lodges and offers outstanding fishing with local guides.
Juneau
The capital of Alaska is surrounded by natural beauty. Nearby are Tracy Arm and Endicott Arm fjords and the most famous of Juneau’s ice floes, the Mendenhall Glacier. Take the cable car 1,750 feet from the cruise-ship docks to the timberline of Mt. Roberts.
Sullivan Bay / Mt. Stevens
A favorite cruising destination, Sullivan Bay is the northernmost marina in the Broughton Archipelago. Charter a helicopter to the stunning heights of nearby Mt. Stevens and TeePee Mountain.
Chichagof Island
Chichagof Island, the fifth largest island in the U.S, is located just off the coast of Juneau in the Alaskan panhandle. While the town Hoonah has a population of only 900, the island has the largest population of coastal brown bears per square miles of any place on Earth.
Barkley Sound
Located on the Western shore of Vancouver Island, Barkley Sound offers some of the most spectacular salmon, halibut, and bottom fishing in North America. Millions of salmon migrate past these shores each year on their way to local rivers and streams.
